❇️ DAY 3– Sunday 5/05/2019 PISA & LUCCA
It’s possible to visit two of the main Tuscan cities in one row! Wear comfortable shoes, since it’s time to walk, more than drive.
• Breakfasts from 7 to 10 (every day).
▶️ 10.15 Departure from the hotel with destination to PISA.
Here you can find the itinerary (around 1 hour)
🆘 Parking Pietrasantina (not guarded to be changed to guarded one): free for cars (10-15 min walking distance from the leaning tower).
[An important remark about parking in Italy in general: mostly, all the touristic cities and towns has unguarded toll parking’s, covered or not, that is not possible to reserve in advance. So, every time we should park the car in the various villages, we will try first to park all in those bigger parking’s, then we eventually have to find some places somewhere else in the town.
The villages we choose for this itinerary considers the parking facilities, because there are some places (such as small villages in the countryside) where is impossible to park several cars in a proper and safe parking.]
Pisa deserves a visit to the Piazza dei Miracoli were there are the leaning tower, the Dome, the Baptistery and the “Camposanto”, so we will have around 1 hour and an half to explore Pisa, trying to find the most original pose for the pictures taking with the leaning tower in the background 😉
▶️ 13.00 Departure with destination to LUCCA
Parking Pasquinelli F.Lli Garage – Guarded, Via Vittorio Emanuele II, Lucca. https://goo.gl/maps/e9UM8oh4w362: around 15 Euro.
First of all, we will certainly need to relax after the crazy and touristy Pisa. So we will go directly by 5 minutes walking to Piazza dell’ Anfteatro in the inner ancient city; this square preserved the shape or the Roman amphitheater. Where once upon a time there were gladiators fighting between them and with wild animals; we will relax in this cozy square, sitting outside in the table of a nice restaurant. They offer fresh hand made pasta, a lot of choices of typical Tuscan meals (meet or fish): you can choose your own menu, to have your first taste of a Tuscan “Osteria” (traditional restaurant, such as trattoria), Osteria Parlascio, Piazza dell’Anfteatro, 44 +39 0583 164 6908.
After lunch, you can explore the town walking on the wall, relaxing in a garden or find where some important classical musicians (such as Paganini and Puccini) lived. Lucca has the well preserved walls and it’s a really a nice stop for an authentic tour and lunch, far from the tourist traps of Pisa.
Free time and back to the hotel.
✅ If you still have energy we can stop to have dinner in a typical agriturismo, such as Fattoria il Poggio (https://www.fattoriailpoggio.net) or eat at the hotel restaurant.

▶️ 14.30 Departure to San Gimignano [https://goo.gl/maps/Z5rBjGYoaTP2] which is around half an hour from Monteriggioni and it is a unique place. Recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1990, San Gimignano offers visitors the chance to step back in time while enjoying its local products including saffron and its white wine, the Vernaccia di San Gimignano. The town is featured by several medieval fully preserved towers, walking in the small streets of San Gimignano is like a trip back in time. In the main square, there is also the famous Gelateria Dondoli, where you can taste the best gelato in the world!

In the main square, there is also the prized Gelateria Dondoli, where you can taste the best gelato in the world! Wine tasting is usually 15-20 Euro depending on the places (possible both in Monteriggioni and San Gimignano).
▶️ Back at the hotel.
Since it is a looong day, maybe you want to rest a little bit but at the same time you will be really hungry! So you can have dinner at the hotel, with a wine tasting or continuing to live in the middle ages also for dinner. Tuscany is really famous for the Middle Age revival celebrations, usually between July and August. But even in May Tuscans like to re-enact that ancient time, especially about the food!
Day 6 -Τρίτη 7/5: Thermal Pool & Cave
❇️ DAY 6 – Tuesday 7/05/2019 A RELAXING DAY IN A THERMAL POOL AND CAVE

Near Grotta Giusti, you can go in Montecatini Terme, a nice liberty town and have a fish dinner! Here a suggestion: Ristorante Sottosopra, Via Ponte dei Bari, 5. Montecatini Terme PT +39 0572 911089
Day 7 – Τετάρτη 8/5: Wednesday 8/05/2019 CHIANTI & SIENA TOUR Full Day in Florence.
This is going to be a long day!
Driving, walking, tasting and… lots of experiences and feelings!

The Chianti region is a territory which is in between the Municipalities of the cities of Siena and Florence. The entire area is featured by a typical landscape made of hills of olive trees and vineyards. The best way to explore the Chianti’s “Florentine side” is by car, the streets are banned for trucks and touristic buses. The Chiantigiana Road passes through this skyline and offers interesting stops on the way. From our hotel we can reach, trough the highway, the small town of Greve in Chianti in one hour and an half, have some free time there and, if you want, have an typical Tuscan food tasting with local salamis, hams, cheese, olive oil and aceto balsamico, sitting outside in the picturesque square of Greve in Chianti. We can also choose to have a small appetizer, an aperitivo (around 10 – 15 Euro per pax).
Greve in Chianti has a big parking, also covered, which cost 1 Euro per hour.
Later on, if you like, we can walk uphill to Monteforalle castle, surrounded by the vineyards and have a typical lunch there. After that, go by car trough the Chiantigiana Road which its beautiful views and explore another village in the Chianti area, closer to Siena and have lunch in the area (if you didn’t in Monteforalle).
We can also continue to Siena (around 1 hour driving) and park for 3 Euro per hours and visit the town (Piazza del Campo, the Dome…).
Then go back to the hotel, choosing the faster way, in around 1 hour and a half.
▶️ Back at the hotel.
Suggested dinner at the hotel restaurant OR a wine tasting with an aperitivo (light dinner) at the hotel bar.
Wine tasting between Florence and Siena: 15-20 Euro
Day 8 – Πέμπτη 9/5: Full Day in Florence. A DAY IN FLORENCE BY CAR
First of all, the new policy of the Uffizi Gallery changed the dates of free entrance, so the first Sunday is no longer free entrance. Also, the ticket prices increased and taxes the groups. So I really suggest you to buy the tickets such as individuals and if you don’t want to stay in line, you can book the tickets online for 20 euro plus 4 euro of reservations fees. Here the link : https://www.uffizi.it/en/tickets
There are two options to Park in Florence: the municipality unguarded parking ( around 3 euro per hour ) or a covered private and guarded parking ( maximum 25 euro per car all day). https://goo.gl/maps/AubMTrxGgQ62
Both the solutions are 20 minutes by foot from Uffizi in a pleasant walking inside the city center). Depending on your interests I can organize walking/bike tours, leather demonstration, lunch, museum/expositions.
Day 9 – Παρασκευή 10/5: TBD – Free Program.
Feel free to ask us any suggestion! ▶️ Just one suggestion from now:
